Research & Development

Our research and development areas

We combine nature-based microbiological solutions with the capabilities of modern molecular biotechnology and engineering-driven technology development.

Our approach

From microorganism to technology

Our research programmes span microbial selection and strain development, fermentation process optimisation and molecular genetic methods, through to the translation of laboratory results into pilot- and industrial-scale applications.

We work in four main research areas: agrobiotechnology, environmental biotechnology, plant tissue culture, and microbial strain development.
